Job description

As a Visual Merchandising Manager you will be responsible to implement visual merchandising plans that uphold brand standards, reflect seasonal and promotional priorities, and enhance in-store presentation across Bloomingdale's and Luxury Stores. This role supports the execution of the overarching VM strategy set by the Head of Visual Merchandising, contributes brand and market insights, ensures consistency in visual standards, and leads the team to deliver high-quality, on-brand displays that drive commercial impact.



Responsibilities:

• Provide brand-specific insights and commercial context to inform the development of a cohesive Visual Merchandising strategy that aligns with brand standards and positioning. Present the proposed strategy and associated budget requirements to the Head of Visual Merchandising for alignment and approval.
• Execute the visual display calendar for all brands in alignment with the overarching VM calendar set by the Head of Visual Merchandising. Ensure seasonal themes, promotional activity, and brand-specific initiatives are incorporated, working closely with relevant departments to support smooth and effective implementation.
• Conduct regular store visits and liaise with the store staff to carry out the merchandising in the stores. 
• Ensure the standards of visual merchandising are being maintained in all the stores. 
• Keep on top of regional and international trends in visual display and merchandising techniques, regularly updating the Head of Visual Merchandising to support strategic planning. Recommend innovative ideas that align with global brand standards while reflecting a unique regional identity
• Guide and motivate team members to drive high performance and deliver quality outcomes, while actively supporting their continuous development and readiness for future roles.
 



Qualifications:

Education/Certification and Continued Education 
• Diploma in Design, Display and Exhibition
 


Years of Experience 
• Minimum of 8 years Creative experience, at least 3 of which are in a managerial position
