Job Summary:

Responsible for installing, testing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing instrumentation and control systems to ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, test, calibrate, and maintain electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical instruments.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in instrumentation and control systems.
  • Install, modify, and commission new instrumentation systems and equipment.
  • Monitor gauges, meters, and indicators to detect abnormalities.
  • Perform calibration of flowmeters, pressure gauges, temperature indicators, and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot electronic circuits using diagnostic tools and schematics.
  • Remove, repair, clean, and reinstall defective instruments and components.
  • Replace wiring, tubing, and faulty parts as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of calibrations, repairs, and inventory.
  • Prepare reports, sketches, and documentation for system changes.
  • Participate in risk assessments and permit-to-work procedures.
  • Order spare parts and consumables as required.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE and safety procedures at all times.
  • Report any safety violations or system issues to management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.
