Junior Service Engineer should perform by hand repairs and handle all on site and workshop
requests for maintenance of equipment and delivering new equipment/vehicles. The profile will
ensure that all troubleshooting, pre-deliveries, diagnosis ,fix spare parts, change oil and resolve
mechanical, electrical issues to perform the maintenance and inspections are handled as per
service requirement with an aim to achieve a prime service of equipment.
Key Commitment
• Adhere to workshop polices, process, procedures as mentioned on operations polices &
procedures manual and direct manager instructions.
• Provide maintenance support with special focus on technical fields (e.g. electrical, and
mechanical, etc.) as required by the job order.
• Ensure that company requirements of equipment/ items are process in most cost effective
and economical and timely manner within the framework of defined company polices
Report any non-compliance operations.
• Ensure that repairs are done to the best of customer and organization and handle all
process in line with manufactures and service manager instructions
• Report any improper usage or fixing or conflict
• Ensure that all clients requirements are met and handle all requests with professional
behavior; any misunderstanding or miscommunication or requests should be reported to
immediate supervisor immediately and should be handled through official service center
channels.
Duties and Essential Job Functions
Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing equipment’s/vehicles;
completing preventive maintenance such as, engine oil changes, replacing filters and
general maintain and monitor.
Perform all maintenance activities by hand or by using proper tools to resolve and inspect
various number of equipment
Maintains vehicle and equipment functional condition by listening to operator complaints;
conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing and maintaining hydraulic
systems, repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and
components and all troubleshooting activities.
Complies with state equipment requirements by testing engine, hydraulic systems ,
transmission and all other components.
Maintaining safe and clean service area by removing parts and tools from work areas and
adhering to safety protocols. This includes following established procedures for safe
disposal of motor oil, tires, and other vehicle fluids. Additionally, an automotive service
technician may monitor mechanics and assistants to ensure that they safely remove
hazardous materials and return tools to shared workspaces.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical
publications.
Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as
needed.
Daily reports and communication as per supervisor requirement to customer and office.
Diagnostics and troubleshooting skills – this role requires strong diagnostic skills, some
exposure to using on-board diagnostic (OBD) technologies, and the ability to identify
mechanical issues to ensure that repairs are successful

Education and Experience:
Engineering Degree in Mechanical/Electrical or relevant area
0-2 years of experience in mechanical/automotive/electrical field

Managing overall workshop activities by prioritizing the daily open jobs and dispatching
the technicians accordingly to complete each job.
Controlling/Tracking the time span taken to close a single job request.
Able to attend and satisfy customer’s needs.
Completing the open jobs on time.
