Senior ICT Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior ICT Engineer to lead and manage the implementation of LV systems for large-scale infrastructure projects.

The candidate will play a key role in design review, site supervision, coordination, and project delivery, ensuring full compliance with Kuwait regulations, client requirements, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of ICT systems across all project phases: engineering, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Supervise and manage installation of:
• CCTV
• Access Control & Security Systems
• Structured Cabling Systems (Copper & Fiber Optics)
• Data Networks
• IPTV & Digital Signage
• Audio Visual (AV) Systems
• Public Address / Voice Alarm (PA/VA) Systems
• Integrated Smart Building Platforms
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and local authority requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Interface with other disciplines including Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, SCADA, and IT systems.
• Manage subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.
• Conduct FAT, SAT, testing, commissioning, and system integration activities.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare progress reports, method statements, and as-built documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in ICT / low current systems.
• Proven experience in power plants, utilities, oil & gas, or major infrastructure projects.
• Prior experience in Kuwait is mandatory.
• Experience with EPC contractors is highly preferred.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong expertise in:
• IP-based CCTV & Video Management Systems
• Access Control Systems (card, biometric, integrated platforms)
• Structured Cabling (TIA/EIA & BICSI standards , Fluke test)
• Fiber Optic Networks (design, splicing, OTDR testing)
• Network Infrastructure (switching & routing fundamentals)
• IPTV Systems
• AV Systems
• Public Address
• Smart Building Integration (BMS, PSIM, IoT)
• Familiarity with cybersecurity practices in critical infrastructure is an advantage.

Certifications (Preferred):

• PMP
• RCDD
• CCNA / CCNP
• BICSI Certifications
• Vendor certifications in security, cabling, networking, or AV systems
