Job description

Role Overview: (Summary) Implement Demand Planning Policies & Procedures of the Company Organize work distribution and flow Analyze and evaluate stock, forecasts and material planning Monitor and evaluate stocks as per sales forecast Work closely with Purchasing, Sales and production teams.


Detailed Accountabilities 1. Responsible for revising and auditing sales requirements to finalize the agreed sales forecast. 2. Measure the sales forecast accuracy on monthly bases. 3. Translate sales forecast into production plans in coordination with production team, considering production capacity and MPQ. 4. Prepare the raw and packing material monthly plan as per the requirement considering the current stock, sales forecast, production plan, supplier, lead time & safety stock to secure required materials and to avoid any extra stocks. 5. Review the monthly R.M plan with all concerns (finance, purchase & warehouse) to finalize and agree on the executive R.M plan. 6. Regular review and optimization of inventory parameters and levels (reorder point, safety stock). 7. Send the final R.M plan to purchase team to proceed with the orders. 8. Prepare the annual R.M plan as per the sales budgeted forecast and provide to purchasing and finance departments the total quantities to be ordered for the whole year. 9. Managing inventory issues (out of stock situations or shortage of supply issues), schedule changes, cancellations and recommend mitigating actions. 10. Communicate with R&D department to get any new recipes or recipe modification to update R.M plan accordingly. 11. Follow up with warehouse, production & purchasing teams to make sure that all required material is received one time and to find solutions if not. 12. Provide to purchase department the R.M quantities that need to be contracted. 13. Organizing and Managing S&OP Processes (Forecast, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Pre S&OP and Executive S&OP). 14. Follow up with warehouse, R&D and sales team on R.M stock near expiry to find a way to liquidate them. 15. Monitor with warehouse team near expiry F.G to highlight it to sales team to take actions. 16. Assign tasks and responsibilities to team 17. Monitor minimum order quantities imposed by the supplier based on sales capabilities. 18. Follow up daily actual sales and compare it to daily sales forecast, make any adjustment to the plan when required
