Job Summary:
The Digital Executive is responsible for managing and optimising the school's digital presence across web, email, and messaging platforms to support marketing and admissions goals. This role combines hands-on technical execution with day-to-day digital marketing activity, ensuring the school's online channels are up to date, engaging, and effective.
Key areas of responsibility
- Digital Marketing: Plan, execute, monitor, and optimise digital marketing campaigns (paid and organic) to support admissions and brand awareness goals, including social media advertising and digital content promotion.
- Email Marketing: Build, schedule, and send email campaigns and newsletters; create and enhance email designs and templates; manage email audience lists/segmentation; monitor open rates, click-through rates, and other performance metrics.
- Website Management: Maintain and update the school website with accurate, current content via the school-specific CMS in place; manage basic SEO; refresh campaign landing pages as needed.
- Messaging Platforms: Manage the school's WhatsApp messaging platform(s), including campaign messaging, automated responses/chatbots, and parent/prospective-parent communications (both automated and ad hoc).
- Digital Tools and Systems: Act as the go-to person for digital/technical needs within the MAC team, enhancing content and processes for the automated workflows across the school (admissions, enrolment, etc.), and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics).
- Reporting: Track and report on digital performance metrics across all channels, providing insights and recommendations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the wider MAC team to ensure digital activity aligns with overall marketing, admissions, and communications strategy, along with supporting cross-functionally across Academic, Accounts, Operations, and Processes teams.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 2–4 years of experience in a digital marketing, communications, or similar role.
- Experience with website content management systems.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, or similar).
- Familiarity with WhatsApp Business or other messaging/broadcast platforms is an advantage.
- Experience in an educational institution or admissions-driven environment is a plus, though not essential.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong written communication skills (English and Arabic) with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with digital tools and quick to pick up new platforms/software.
- Solid understanding of SEO, analytics, and digital performance tracking.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple channels and deadlines simultaneously.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset, especially when handling technical issues.
- Creative eye for content and an understanding of audience-appropriate messaging (parents, prospective families, students).
