We are looking for Software Lead Engineer – TCMS_CR Project You’ll make a difference by As a Software Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the overall TCMS software development activities for a complete Commuter Rail (CR) project. Your tasks and responsibilities are as follows: • Lead overall TCMS software development activities for a complete CR project. • Coordinate software development activities across multiple TCMS subsystems and functions. • Define software architecture, software interfaces, and integration concepts for vehicle-level applications. • Lead requirement analysis, software design, implementation, verification, and validation activities following the V-model approach. • Ensure development of software components in alignment with safety-relevant software system guidelines. • Drive development of RArS, SWrS, interface specifications, software architecture, and software test specifications. • Coordinate with system engineers, software developers, testers, integrators, and project stakeholders for successful project execution. • Support software integration, issue analysis, debugging, and resolution of complex technical issues. • Monitor software quality, project schedules, technical risks, and deliverables. • Conduct technical discussions with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams. • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to software development teams. • Ensure compliance with applicable railway standards, cybersecurity, and safety requirements. Desired Skills: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or relevant engineering stream with 10+ years of relevant rolling stock experience. • Strong experience in TCMS software development and train control systems. • Hands-on experience in leading complete software development activities for rolling stock or commuter rail projects. • Strong understanding of software architecture, requirement engineering, software lifecycle, and V-model development process. • Hands-on experience in development of RArS, SWrS, software architecture, interface specifications, and software test specifications. • Experience in working with TRDP, MVB, WTB, Ethernet, and onboard communication protocols. • Good understanding of standards such as IEC 50128, IEC 61131, IEC 61375, EN 50657, etc. • Strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. • Good communication and presentation skills complete your profile. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional engineering teams to achieve project goals.
