Job description

The Lead – QA/QC – Site is responsible for end-to-end quality assurance and control for all construction activities at the site, including civil, structural, MEP, and finishing works. The role ensures implementation of quality systems, timely inspections, testing protocols, and documentation to achieve defect-free project delivery in compliance with client, regulatory, and company standards.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Implement the site quality plan, ITPs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all trades, ensuring that work is executed in compliance with technical specifications, codes, and client requirements.

  • Lead and manage the site QA/QC team, assigning responsibilities, reviewing inspection reports, verifying test results, and mentoring junior staff in technical quality matters.

  • Conduct and oversee quality inspections at each stage of construction, including excavation, reinforcement, concrete pouring, shuttering, masonry, waterproofing, plastering, tiling, painting, and structural steel and MEP works.

  • Coordinate and supervise material inspection and testing, including verification of vendor material test certificates (MTCs), on-site testing (e.g., cube tests, slump tests), and third-party testing results.

  •  Raise non-conformance reports (NCRs) and site observations, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to avoid recurring issues.
