DESCRIPTION:
As an HR Generalist III at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll be a key partner helping advance our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive HR support across employee relations, talent management, and organizational development in a matrix environment. You'll collaborate with managers and leaders to implement HR initiatives that enhance performance, engagement and retention while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. This position offers the opportunity to make meaningful contributions through coaching, problem-solving, and implementing positive change in support of business objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 5 + years of HR Generalist experience in a matrix organization.
• Preferred Fields of Study: Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field
• Professional HR certification (SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent) would be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations and HR best practices
• Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, and investigations
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with data-driven decision making
• Advanced proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Workday).
• Experience with organizational change management and process improvement
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Project management experience and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Business acumen with strategic mindset and consultative approach
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills valued
• Ability to travel occasionally between sites as needed
• Experience in manufacturing, healthcare or life sciences industry preferred
