Job Overview The Cybersecurity Officer at Siemens is responsible for safeguarding the organization’s digital assets, networks, and critical infrastructure from cyber threats. This role involves developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies, monitoring for vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities Implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity policies and procedures. Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses & management across Siemens’ systems and applications (on-premises and cloud). Monitor & manage Cybersecurity security incidents promptly. Collaborate with IT teams and business units to ensure secure operations and mitigate risks. Lead security awareness training sessions for employees and stakeholders. Stay updated with evolving threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements. Prepare reports and documentation for Cybersecurity dashboard, audits and compliance purposes. Perform Cybersecurity assessments in line with ISO 27K & NIST framework. Qualifications Minimum working experience in Cybersecurity: 5 years Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications (such as ISO27K, CISA or CISM) are preferred – plus - CEH certification will be an added advantage. Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, ideally within industrial or large enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of security frameworks, threat detection, and incident response. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. Experience in working with teams across geographies Desired Skills Exposure / knowledge not limited to network security, cloud security, data security and AI security Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as DPDP, MeitY (CERT-IN) and GDPR Experience with industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) security is a plus. Project management and leadership abilities. Work Environment The Cybersecurity Officer will work in a dynamic, global team environment at Siemens, collaborating with colleagues across multiple departments and locations. This role may require occasional travel to Siemens sites.
