At OpenText, AI is at the heart of everything we do—powering innovation, transforming work, and empowering digital knowledge workers. We're hiring talent that AI can't replace to help us shape the future of information management. Join us.

Your Impact:

The Lead Product Manager will be responsible for shaping and executing the product strategy for OpenText’s core B2B communications platform.
This role focuses on defining strategy, driving roadmap execution, and ensuring the platform delivers measurable business and operational outcomes.
The Lead PM will work closely with Engineering, Architecture, and Operations to evolve the platform over multiple horizons, while acting as a senior product voice for communications capabilities across the integration ecosystem.

What the role offers:

  • Own the product strategy, and multi quarter roadmap for the communications platform
  • Ensure the platform supports any to any connectivity across heterogeneous partner environments, protocols, and deployment models
  • Frame product decisions around business and operational outcomes (e.g., scalability, resilience, reliability, time to connect, efficiency)
  • Drive prioritization and trade-off decisions in partnership with Engineering and Architecture, balancing customer needs, technical constraints, and operational impact
  • Guide the introduction of automation and intelligent capabilities to reduce manual effort and operational overhead
  • Partner with Engineering and Operations to establish and monitor measurable service level objectives
Influence architectural standards and long term platform investments
  • Act as a subject matter expert and product authority for communications capabilities within the broader integration portfolio
Communicate clearly with executive stakeholders on priorities, trade-offs, and risks

What you need to succeed:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with 10+ years of total professional experience
  • Strong experience working on platform, infrastructure, or enterprise-scale systems rather than standalone end-user features
  • Strong systems thinking across reliability, scalability, security, and platform abstraction
  • Demonstrated ability to partner deeply with engineers, architects, and operations teams to drive outcomes
  • Comfortable influencing decisions and alignment without formal people-management responsibility
    Preferred
  • Experience with enterprise connectivity, integration, or network centric platforms
  • Familiarity with multiple B2B interaction models (e.g., synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven, batch, API-based)
  • Exposure to automation, intelligence, or analytics applied to large-scale operational platforms

One last thing:

We are seeking a Lead Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and evolution of this foundational communications platform.

OpenText Business Network enables intelligent, connected, and trusted B2B interactions at global scale. A core part of this capability is our communications platform, which underpins how enterprises and their trading partners connect, exchange information, and operate reliably across complex ecosystems.
