This role is critical in ensuring compliance, driving cost optimization, supporting vendor audits, managing licensing contracts, and integrating governance frameworks for enterprise-wide asset visibility and control.</span></p><hr /><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Key Responsibilities:</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"></p><h2><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">1. Software Asset Management (SAM)</span></h2><ul><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Manage and maintain the software asset repository and inventory across all platforms (on-premises and cloud).</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Track software license purchases, entitlements, and deployments to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Conduct regular audits of software usage to identify underutilized licenses and recommend reharvesting opportunities.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Monitor and report on software compliance risks, usage trends, and optimization opportunities.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Lead or contribute to the implementation and governance of SAM tools (Flexera, ServiceNow, Snow, or equivalents).</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Establish and maintain SAM policies, procedures, and standards aligned with ITIL best practices.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Support vendor audits and internal controls by providing accurate data and documentation.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Collaborate with procurement, IT, legal, and finance teams to validate contracts, renewals, and license metrics.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Educate stakeholders on license compliance, obligations, and cost-saving strategies.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Implement and govern the full software license lifecycle from procurement to retirement.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Ensure compliance with vendor terms (Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, Adobe, and others).</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Analyze usage data to identify optimization and reharvesting opportunities.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Lead readiness for vendor audits, license reconciliation, and contract renewal planning.</span></p></li></ul><hr /><h2><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">2. Cloud and Hybrid Licensing Optimization</span></h2><ul><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Support optimization of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud subscriptions and hybrid environment licensing.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Interpret licensing contracts and map usage for cost-effective renewals.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Align contract obligations with actual deployments in cloud and hybrid environments.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Automate license tracking, compliance reporting, and cost analytics.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Provide dashboards and reports on compliance, usage, and financial risks.</span></p></li></ul><hr /><h2><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">3. Hardware Asset Management (HAM)</span></h2><ul><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Maintain a complete inventory and metadata of all hardware assets in Azure-hosted, SecNumCloud, and other certified environments (servers, appliances, firewalls, etc.).</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Track cloud-hosted physical assets provisioned via Azure, SecNumCloud, Bleu, and Flexible Engine.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Support asset tagging, classification, and location mapping aligned with ANSSI, GDPR, and internal security policies.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Oversee procurement, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning of cloud or on-prem physical assets.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Track warranties, maintenance contracts, and refresh cycles to maintain availability and performance.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Ensure readiness for audits and inspections (SecNumCloud, ISO/IEC 27001).</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Correlate cloud-native metrics (Azure Cost Management, Log Analytics) with hardware demand to optimize procurement.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Identify reuse or redistribution opportunities to reduce CAPEX and OPEX.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Develop dashboards (Power BI, ServiceNow HAM) for compliance, utilization, and risk monitoring.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Oversee end-to-end hardware lifecycle processes including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposal.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Manage warranty and support renewals ensuring full service coverage.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Integrate HAM systems with ITSM/CMDB for real-time asset visibility and data integrity.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Automate asset onboarding, reconciliation, and reporting workflows.</span></p></li></ul><hr /><h2><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">4. Collaboration and Governance</span></h2><ul><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Act as the SAM/HAM point of contact for cloud and sovereign infrastructure projects.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Collaborate with infrastructure, procurement, security, compliance, and finance teams for lifecycle governance.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Ensure that asset management aligns with organizational, operational, and budgetary goals.</span></p></li><li><p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and chargeback activities related to IT assets.</span></p></li></ul>About you<p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Required Skills & Experience:</span></p><ul><li style="margin-left: .5in; tab-stops: list .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Proven track record with enterprise software licensing with some key Software Editors (ServiceNow , PEGA , Cienna , CSG , Splunk , Salesforce , Microsoft MCA /EA, Oracle , Adobe, etc.).</span></li><li style="margin-left: .5in; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; tab-stops: list .5in;"><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva; font-size: 9pt;">Strong knowledge of any of the ITAM tools: ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow, SCCM, OpenText, Lansweeper.</span></li><li style="margin-left: .5in;
