About this opportunity:



We are looking for a skilled and driven Optimization Engineer to join our Managed Services team in Noida. This role sits at the heart of Packet Core performance, offering you the opportunity to work across cutting-edge 2G/4G/5G NSA networks, collaborate with global telecom vendors, and directly impact end-user network experience. What you will do:




  • Drive performance and optimization activities within a managed services operations environment
  • Perform configuration and troubleshooting of Packet Core nodes (SGSN/MME/GGSN) across Nokia, Cisco, and Ericsson platforms
  • Conduct KPI analysis, trace analysis, and lead improvement initiatives for Packet Core performance
  • Manage and execute configurations including OSPF, IP pool addition, OCS/DRA/PCRF definition, LAC Barring, CSFB, SRVCC, APN creation, BSC/RNC migration, and TAI-DB management
  • Support VoLTE/IMS-related configurations in MME and GGSN
  • Analyse GPRS, VoLTE, and EPC/LTE call flows and ensure seamless network interface integration (Gb, Gr, Gi, Gn, Gx, Gy, S1, S6a, S11, SGs, S10, etc.)
  • Work with Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) configurations and service-aware charging concepts
  • Stay current with latest Packet Core technologies including CUPS, F5, and Cloud-based nodes
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, owning performance outcomes end-to-end

The skills you bring:




  • Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
  • 4–8 years of relevant experience in Telecom/Packet Core domain

Technical Expertise



  • Strong hands-on experience on Packet Core nodes: SGSN, GGSN, MME, PCRF, EPDG, DNS, AAA
  • Good understanding of Telecom Networks specially in 2G/4G/5G NSA/5G SA/M2M/VoWifi domain 
  • Sound level domain knowledge around 2G, LTE & 5GNSA/5G SA 
  • Proficiency in Cisco and/or Huawei Packet Core node troubleshooting and configuration
  • In-depth knowledge of GSM / WCDMA / LTE / VoLTE technologies and 3GPP standards
  • Solid understanding of 2G, LTE, and 5G NSA domain
  • Expertise in PS Core protocols, SS7 networks, and EPC/LTE call flows
  • Familiarity with PACO KPIs, their analysis, and improvement planning
  • Knowledge of latest technologies: CUPS, F5, Cloud Packet Core
  • Minimum proficiency across 2 vendors (Cisco, Nokia, or Ericsson)
