About This Opportunity
We are looking for a L1 Assurance Engineer to join our Network Operations team at Ericsson, Noida. In this role, you will be part of a 24x7 global operations environment, responsible for real-time alarm monitoring, first-level fault analysis, and incident management across RAN, IP, Core, and Transmission (TXN) network domains.

What You Will Do
•    Perform 24x7 alarm monitoring and first-level fault management (L1FM) across RAN, IP, Core, and Transmission network elements
•    Identify, analyze, and prioritize network faults using Ericsson OSS/NMS and multi-vendor EMS tools
•    Escalate and coordinate with L2/L3 support teams and field engineers to ensure timely service restoration within defined SLAs
•    Execute proactive monitoring to detect early warning signals and prevent service degradations
•    Track and manage incidents through their complete lifecycle with accurate documentation in fault management systems
•    Support incident, problem, and change management processes in line with Ericsson's Global Service Center (GSC) standards
•    Generate network performance and health reports, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
•    Participate in rotational shift operations to ensure round-the-clock network surveillance coverage



The Skills You Bring
Experience & Domain Knowledge
•    1–6 years of experience in Network Operations / L1 Fault Management in a telecom environment
•    Hands-on experience in one or more of the following domains:
o    RAN (Radio Access Network – 2G/3G/4G/5G)
o    IP (Routers, Switches, IP Transport)
o    Core (MSC, EPC, IMS, 5GC)
o    Transmission/TXN (SDH, DWDM, MW, Packet Transport)
Technical Skills
•    Working knowledge of Ericsson OSS/NMS tools or other network management platforms (e.g., Netcool, HP OpenView, SolarWinds)
•    Understanding of fault management processes, alarm correlation, and SLA-driven operational models
•    Familiarity with ITIL practices – incident, problem, and change management
Behavioural & Soft Skills
•    Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to interpret alarms and identify probable root causes
•    Good communication and coordination skills for effective collaboration across global teams
•    Ability and willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment, including weekends and holidays
Education
•    Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent
