We are looking for: Software Architect –(AI Architect) You’ll make an impact by: · AI Strategy & Culture Leadership: Establish and champion AI/ML vision, standards, and best practices across the department · Build and mentor high-performing AI/ML teams; foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning · Drive organizational AI adoption initiatives and change management · Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases aligned with business objectives · Technical Architecture & Innovation: Design scalable, enterprise-grade AI/ML and Generative AI architectures and reference implementations · Develop reusable AI/ML frameworks, libraries, and guidelines for cross-portfolio deployment · Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies, tools, and platforms · Ensure AI solutions meet security, compliance, governance, and ethical standards · Cross-Functional Collaboration: Co-create with peers across engineering, product, data, and business teams to optimize AI Factory and data center designs · Translate AI/ML capabilities into scalable customer and portfolio value · Influence and align partners on AI roadmaps and technical decisions · Partner with external teams and vendors to advance Siemens AI offerings · Continuous Improvement & Standards: Stay current with AI/ML advancements, industry trends, and emerging standards · Incorporate best practices and forward-looking AI governance frameworks · Build and maintain AI/ML documentation, playbooks, and training materials · Core Competencies: AI/ML & Generative AI Expertise · Deep hands-on knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, LLMs, and practical Generative AI applications · AI Architecture & Design: Designs scalable, modular, and enterprise-ready AI systems and reference architectures · Leadership & Culture Building: Inspires teams, drives organizational change, and fosters an AI-first mindset. Critical Thinking : Translates technical AI capabilities into business value and competitive advantage. · Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration. · Works effectively across fast-paced, multi-functional teams and platforms. Use your skills to move the world forward! · Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. · 8+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering, data science, or related technical roles. · Hands-on expertise in machine learning frameworks. · Practical Generative AI knowledge and demonstrated experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI applications. · Experience designing and deploying scalable AI/ML systems in production environments. · Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineering teams. · Deep expertise in Generative AI applications (e.g., LLM fine-tuning, RAG systems, prompt optimization). · Experience with AI governance, ethics, and responsible AI frameworks. · Knowledge of MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, and governance standards. · Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
