Job description

Job Summary:

The Technical Architect is responsible for designing and implementing high-level IT solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements. This role involves evaluating systems, defining architecture standards, and guiding development teams to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions. The Technical Architect acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that architectural decisions support long-term strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop enterprise-level architecture solutions across platforms and technologies.
  • Define and document architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements or upgrades.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Lead technical design reviews and ensure alignment with architectural principles.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the organization.
  • Manage architectural risks and ensure compliance with IT governance and security policies.
  • Support project planning, estimation, and resource allocation from a technical perspective.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in software development and architecture roles.
  • Certification in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Architect) is preferred.
