The Opportunity



This position works out of our Cairo Office in the Established Pharmaceutical Division where we are committed to bringing the benefits of our trusted medicines to more people in the world’s fastest-growing countries. Our broad portfolio of high-quality and differentiated branded generic medicines reaches across multiple therapeutic areas including gastroenterology, women's health, cardiometabolic, pain management/central nervous system, and respiratory.



As a Product Manager, you’ll have the chance to lead a group of initiatives and campaign, driven by insights and based on strategic planning and financial acumen. You’ll manage the brand equity, collaborate cross-fucntionally and influence decision-makers for innovative initiatives to grow the brands and manage their life cycle.




What You’ll Do:




  • Develops annual TA strategies and brand plans in coordination with the country’s relevant cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develops annual & quarterly tactical plan of activities for relevant brands, in coordination with Sales & Marketing stakeholders.
  • Align with regional & global marketing teams on brands strategies & updates, while insuring adherence to global brands strategy implementation.
  • Plan and execute HCPs’ engagement educational programs & activities to raise the awareness about brands & relevant therapeutic areas. 
  • Train sales force on product knowledge and brand strategies.
  • Generate and Analyze market insight & researches to optimize the decision-making process.
  • Relevant KOL management in coordination with relevant commercial partners. 
  • Integral member of the demand and supply review, and active participation in forecasting and market projections.
  • Regularly track the execution tactical plans and the impact of activities on overall performance, optimize ROI.
  • Manage contacts and ensure strategic alliance between Abbott functional teams (Finance, Demand & Logistics management, Distribution, Sales & Marketing team), through building a strong internal network and providing business rationale, reach consensus, resolve conflicts, escalate issues.
  • Regularly collect and provide Management with information about marketing & commercial activities of other pharmaceutical companies and identify market trends.


Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in a commercial role in the pharma industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a marketing role in the pharma industry.
  • Excellent communication skills with high proficiency in spoken and written English & Arabic.
  • Proficient MS office tools (PowerPoint & Excel), and fair understanding of digital promotion tools.
  • Remarkable KOLs’ engagement record.
  • Thinks strategically and demonstrates learning agility, with a growth mindset.
  • Good financial and business acumen.


Preferred Qualifications




  • People management experience.
  • MBA or a marketing post-graduate degree.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams, internal and external stakeholders.
