ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to join our team. This role is responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating competitive pricing, processing purchase orders through the LN system, and ensuring full compliance with internal procedures and HSE standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a solid understanding of local and overseas markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Continuously review and negotiate prices and suppliers to maximize discounts and services.

·       Communicate operational procedures to subordinates and ensure adherence for controlled work.

·       Organize and supervise subordinates' activities.

·       Adhere to purchase, shipping, and clearing procedures — only purchasing items with an LN Purchase Order.

·       Enter all orders into the LN system following user manuals for accurate records.

·       Close complete orders on time for financial record updates.

·       Comply with safety, quality, and environmental procedures.

·       Maintain clean and organized operational areas to prevent incidents.

·       Communicate with Heads of Departments, Department Personnel, Suppliers, Port Authorities, Customs, and Government Departments.
