Today, we are recruiting for a Depot Workshop Equipment (DWE) Installation Engineer to join our team in Egypt. Manage the installation of DWE machines, including on-site equipment positioning, erection, assembly, and connection in accordance with approved drawings and specifications. Preparation and review of installation manuals, Method statements (MoS) in all aspects (e.g. installation sequence, planning, setup). Ensure and monitor compliance with applicable HSE regulations on site, including adherence to risk assessments and method statements. Review and interpret approved technical drawings, layouts, and schematics to support on site installation activities. Coordinate site access requirements, including permits, inductions, readiness checks, and approvals necessary to commence installation activities. Lead and coordinate daily installation activities with suppliers, installation contractors, and subcontractors for DWE machines. Coordinate with logistics for transporting material from warehouse to site. Update of installation schedules by providing inputs from site activities. Collect and compile information regarding installation progress, deadlines, costs, defects, and delays Prepare progress reports and documentation for the machine installation progress, non-conformities and its corrective actions Monitor and assure compliance with DWE installation method statements and project quality standards. Work in coordination with the Quality Manager (QMiP) to ensure installation and assembly activities comply with approved quality and technical requirements Act as the site-level technical point of contact with the suppliers for installation-related queries concerning DWE machines and report any issues DWE Installation Manager. Coordinate, preparation, collection, and management of installation-related documentation, including red-line drawings and as-built inputs. What do I need to qualify for this job? Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering. Minimum 4 years of experience in heavy machinery installation or related field activities. Experience in railway or Depot Workshop Equipment projects is a plus. Strong understanding of technical drawings, installation procedures, and site coordination. Knowledge of HSE standards and quality requirements. Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Fluent in Arabic and English. What else do I need to know?
