Supply Chain Officer

The role of a Supply Chain Officer in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is vital for ensuring the seamless flow of products from production to distribution. This is a full-time remote job for a Supply Chain Specialist. Candidates must be based in Cyprus. The role involves overseeing supply chain processes, managing inventory levels, handling daily operations, and optimizing the overall efficiency of supply chain activities. The Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations while analyzing and addressing challenges in the supply chain.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the procurement of raw materials, ensuring that quality standards are met while negotiating favorable terms with suppliers to optimize costs and maintain supply continuity.
2. Coordinate with production teams to forecast demand accurately, utilizing advanced planning software to align inventory levels with production schedules and minimize stockouts.
3. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and driving initiatives to enhance performance.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with logistics providers, ensuring timely delivery of products while managing transportation costs and service quality.
5. Conduct regular audits of supply chain processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, taking corrective action as necessary.
6. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address any product quality issues that arise during the supply chain process, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
7. Utilize data analytics tools to analyze supply chain trends, providing insights that inform strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
8. Lead cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency, working closely with IT and operations teams to implement new technologies and systems.
9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing innovative ideas and solutions that drive cost savings and improve service delivery across the supply chain.
