Web Developer PHP

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with design and content teams to translate UI/UX wireframes into responsive and functional web pages.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and security vulnerabilities.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
• Maintain code quality through version control systems (e.g., Git) and best development practices.
• Stay up to date with emerging web technologies, trends, and standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong focus on WordPress development.
• In-depth knowledge of WordPress architecture, themes, plugins, and core functions.
• Proficient in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with MySQL or similar relational databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, AJAX, and JSON.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with WooCommerce or other WordPress-based eCommerce platforms.
• Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console).
• Familiarity with hosting environments, DNS, and cPanel/WHM.
• Understanding of accessibility and security best practices.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience in PHP and WordPress development.
