We are hiring  Logistics System Administrators  in Abu Dhabi.

Job purpose

The Logistics System Administrator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing site logistics systems to ensure the efficient and timely movement of materials, equipment, workforce, and deliveries. The role manages and supports logistics technologies, including the Delivery Management System (DMS), face-recognition turnstiles, vertical logistics management systems, and any newly implemented digital platforms. This position ensures effective entry scheduling, gate and access control, and compliance with site safety requirements. It requires strong organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and clear communication with suppliers, contractors, and site teams, while working closely with the Logistics Manager/Coordinator to support smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

·Check every booking detail and approve or reject as per the availability of all requirements

·Communicating with bookers in case of rejection or amendment

·Monitor gates, bookings flow & subcontractors/ supplier’s performances daily

·Track KPIs & Power BI Dashboard, Ensure escalation of any issues

·Daily Communication with Logistics Manager/ Coordinator and site team for booking purposes

·Daily & close communication with security to ensure all entry/exits are as per site rules, and ensuring urgent/unplanned cases are as per DMS regulation

·Creating Weekly & Monthly delivery reports for the Contractor/Subcontractor to track compliance with their performance

·Creating Monthly productivity & improvement reports for management (and any other reports requested)

·Adjust booking rules and update crane schedules once required/as per project plan

·Inform management & the commercial to send a warning/penalty letter in case of rule breach

·Implement and enforce DMS, site safety and security protocols, ensuring compliance with project requirements and company standards.

·Manage all site deliveries through the DMS, allocating time slots to prevent congestion and ensure smooth gate access.

·Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, and subcontractors, resolving delivery issues and updating

·site teams to ensure DMS works at its best.

·Turnstile: Oversee the workers attendance on-site and ensure accuracy of the reports.

·Turnstile: Ensure registration of all workers entering and those shifting out from the project affected on the DSS system.

·Turnstile: Creating manual reports if required.

·Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement best practices, and stay updated with industry trends.

·Turnstile: Ensure accurate reports and updates on DSS systems as needed.

·Ensure registration of all workers entering and those shifting out from the project affected on the system.

·Follow up and ensure project details are received, and all required data is gathered correctly (forms completed).

Qualifications & Experience

·1+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in construction.

·Familiarity with construction and fit-out projects in the UAE is an advantage.

·Experience in coordinating logistics
