Medical Laboratory Technician

Location - Red Sea - Western Region

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Laboratory Technician to perform routine and complex laboratory procedures to support testing, research, or product development activities. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in testing, maintain proper lab documentation, and comply with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests and experiments according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Collect, label, and analyze samples (e.g., blood, urine, food, environmental)
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments
• Record test results accurately and maintain detailed logs and lab reports
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and other laboratory materials
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist in inventory management and ordering of lab supplies
• Collaborate with scientists, researchers, or healthcare providers depending on the setting
• Ensure compliance with quality control and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, CLIA, FDA)
• Participate in training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
