The Senior Planning Engineer is responsible for developing and monitoring project schedules, coordinating project planning with stakeholders, and providing analytical support through progress tracking and delay analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update project schedules using Primavera or MS Project.
- Monitor project progress and provide forecasts.
- Prepare weekly and monthly project reports.
- Conduct delay analysis and prepare extension of time (EOT) claims.
- Support tender planning and proposal schedules.
- Coordinate with engineering and site teams for accurate updates.
- Perform resource loading and progress tracking.
- Advise management on schedule risks and mitigation plans.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil preferred).
- Certified and registered engineer.
- Minimum 5 years of planning experience.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Experience in large-scale construction projects.
- Strong analytical and time management skills.
- Familiar with project lifecycle and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
