About The Role
We are looking for a skilled and quality-conscious Spool Maker I to join our Production team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating GRP/GRE pipe spools using shop floor and isometric drawings, in full compliance with design specifications, quality control standards, and production schedules — with a focus on minimizing waste and material rejection.
Key Responsibilities
▸ Spool Fabrication & Workflow
• Utilize fittings, pipes, and GRP/GRE components to fabricate spools in strict accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Self-QC completed products and coordinate with the QC department for inspection and formal release
• Report daily output status to the assistant foreman to ensure production schedules are on track
• Immediately flag any accidents, non-conformities, or production issues to the assistant foreman
▸ Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
• Comply with all relevant HSE procedures, safety instructions, and environmental control requirements
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work area
• Keep assigned tools, equipment, and machinery in good working order
• Report all unsafe acts, incidents, or safety violations without delay
