About The Role
We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Machine Operator I to join our Production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating pipe manufacturing machinery at optimal speeds, ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
▸ Production & Machine Operation
• Ensure correct resin mixing and availability of raw materials before commencing production
• Operate machinery in compliance with standard procedures and instructions
• Ensure correct labelling and marking per standard and client specifications
• Report any accidents, non-conformities, or production issues to your supervisor
▸ De-Molding
• Perform pre-curing and de-molding to minimize product defects
• Maintain accurate records for molds and mandrels, including proper stenciling
• Inspect de-molded products and prepare them for QC final inspection
• Cool mandrels to the required temperature and ensure readiness for production
▸ Hydro Testing
• Set up and dismantle pipe testing heads, fittings, and blind flanges
• Monitor machine operation within defined parameters to protect equipment and product integrity
• Test pipes per the testing schedule and log daily results
• Select correct rubber rings, O-rings, and flanges per drilling standards
• Verify and apply valid calibration dates on all gauges
▸ Calibration
• Calibrate, build up, grind, and cut pipes to required dimensional and quality standards
• Minimize wastage and rejections during calibration
• Track, log, and report daily output and post-curing status
▸ Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
• Comply with all HSE procedures and environmental control instructions
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Report unsafe acts, incidents, or safety violations immediately
