JOB PURPOSE


The Specialist, Graphics Design (Motion Graphics & Animator) is responsible for designing and producing high-quality 2D and 3D animations, motion graphics, and video elements that support corporate initiatives and marketing campaigns. This role combines creativity, technical expertise, and storytelling skills to deliver visually compelling content optimized for digital platforms, particularly social media. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


Motion Graphics & Animation Design


  • Design and produce original 2D and 3D animations tailored for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations.
  • Utilize industry-standard software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D to create dynamic visual content.
  • Integrate typography, visual effects, and sound design to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
  • Optimize animations for different screen sizes and resolutions to ensure seamless playback across devices.
  • Apply design principles to create aesthetically appealing and brand-aligned motion graphics.

Storyboarding & Concept Development


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives, review scripts, and develop storyboards that guide animation production.

  • Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visual narratives that support campaign messaging.

Video Editing & Production Oversight


  • Edit video footage and incorporate motion graphics, transitions, and effects to enhance visual impact.
  • Oversee the full production lifecycle from concept to final delivery, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to timelines.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining high standards while meeting deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Review and revise animations based on stakeholder feedback, ensuring alignment with business needs and creative vision.
  • Maintain organized project files and version control for efficient collaboration and future reference.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement


  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in motion design and animation.
  • Explore new techniques and creative approaches to push the boundaries of visual storytelling.
  • Introduce innovative ideas and solutions that enhance the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the organization’s visual identity through dynamic and engaging multimedia content.
  • Support the development of internal capabilities by sharing knowledge and mentoring junior team members when applicable.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.
  • 8 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within a corporate or creative studio environment.
  • Proven ability to create brand-aligned designs for both digital and print media.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in layout design, illustration, and multimedia content creation.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional creative teams and managing multiple design projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and Canva.
