Job description

General Trade Hulool announces a job vacancy for an experienced Shipping and Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team, working in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and effectively manage shipping and customs clearance operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all customs laws and regulations in the United Arab Emirates, particularly in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, suppliers, shipping companies, and government agencies.
  • Prepare and submit all necessary customs documentation.
  • Track shipments and provide clients with up-to-date information.
  • Resolve issues related to shipping and customs clearance.
  • Knowledge of free zone laws in the UAE.


Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping and customs clearance, preferably in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.
  • Excellent knowledge of customs laws and regulations in the United Arab Emirates.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in using relevant computer software.
