Senior Accountant

This role sits at the heart of a complex, multi‑entity finance function and will lead the full accounting lifecycle across several UAE‑based businesses. Based in the UAE, the position offers high visibility, group‑level exposure, and close collaboration with senior finance leadership in a fast‑evolving environment.

Description

· Own the end‑to‑end accounting function across multiple UAE entities, ensuring accuracy and consistency

· Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities in line with group timelines

· Prepare and review management accounts, group reporting packs, and consolidation inputs

· Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and eliminations across entities

· Ensure full compliance with IFRS and all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements

· Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, advisors, and regulatory bodies

· Drive improvements in financial controls, processes, and reporting frameworks

· Partner closely with the Finance Manager and support the Group CFO on reporting and strategic initiatives

· Collaborate with international finance teams to ensure alignment across jurisdictions

Profile

· 8 to 12+ years of accounting experience within multi‑entity or group environments

· Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, group reporting, and consolidations

· Proven experience managing audits and external stakeholders

· Exposure to UAE and international tax matters is advantageous

· Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced and evolving business

· Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders

· Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred

· Candidates must be based in the UAE
