Duties Overview
1. Objective
Lead the sales team to achieve sales targets, and collaborate with the marketing team to realize the company's marketing strategic objectives.
2. Key Responsibilities and Work Tasks
Primary Duties:
(1) Build, train, and evaluate the department’s sales team.
(2) Lead the team to work cooperatively in delivering value to customers.
(3) Set departmental goals, break down annual and monthly sales targets, and track progress to ensure completion.
(4) Implement sales plans at all levels to guarantee that the Group’s marketing strategy is effectively executed from a sales perspective.
(5) Enforce company policies, and comprehensively organize, manage, supervise, coordinate, and assess the work of all sales staff.
(6) Establish and maintain strong customer relationships, improve customer satisfaction, and protect and enhance the company’s brand image.
(7) Develop and manage dealer networks, fostering good cooperative partnerships.
(8) Undertake major projects and key account management, acting as project manager when required.
(9) Complete any other tasks assigned by superiors.
Collaborative / Public Duties:
(1) Take responsibility for sales‑related training for marketing centre personnel.
(2) Lead the collection and reporting of frontline market intelligence, including project updates, customer insights, and competitor activities.
(3) Coordinate with the project department and after‑sales service team to ensure smooth handling of sales and post‑sales issues, and maintain positive customer relations.
(4) Support the work of subsidiaries as needed.
3. Authority and Reporting Line
Reports to the Director of the Sales Centre / General Manager of the subsidiary. Holds full responsibility for all operations and management of the sales department.
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, capable of delivering technical proposals to engineers, procurement managers, and C‑level executives
• Proven experience in power generation, diesel generators, or related industrial equipment sales is highly preferred
• Understanding of generator specifications (kW/kVA ratings, fuel types, noise levels, parallel operation, etc.) and ability to communicate technical advantages to non‑technical clients
• Ability to develop and manage dealer/distributor networks across the Middle East region
• Ability to gather and analyze market intelligence
• Willingness to travel frequently within the Middle East for client meetings and site visits
• Proficiency in CRM systems
• Strong Excel skills for sales forecasting, target decomposition, and performance reporting.
• Knowledge of local customs, business etiquette, and procurement processes
