Job Purpose:


The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sponsorship and exhibition revenue growth through proactive business development, account management, and consultative sales strategies across assigned events. 
The role requires identifying new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, achieving revenue targets, and delivering exceptional customer experiences while supporting the long-term commercial success of the event portfolio.


Job Dimensions:


•    Business Development and Sales  Identify, develop, and convert new sponsorship and exhibition opportunities to achieve revenue targets and portfolio growth.
•    Client Relationship Management  Build and maintain strong relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, and industry stakeholders to maximise retention and repeat business.
•    Market Research & Industry Analysis  Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend monitoring to identify new opportunities and enhance commercial performance.
•    Sales Planning & Execution  Develop and execute structured sales plans aligned with event objectives and commercial strategies.
•    Lead Generation & CRM Management  Research, qualify, and manage leads through the CRM system while ensuring accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting.
•    Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with marketing, production, operations, and sponsorship teams to ensure alignment on customer targeting and event delivery.
•    Commercial Negotiation  Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial agreements, and secure win-win outcomes with clients and partners.
•    Travel  where relevant attending the event with the objective of re-signing and/or gaining commitment from sponsors and exhibitors to attend the following year’s event.
•    Event Representation  Represent the business at industry events, meetings, and exhibitions to strengthen market presence and secure future opportunities.

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:

•    1–3 years of experience in B2B sponsorship, exhibition, or event sales.
•    Strong sales, negotiation, and account management skills.
•    Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar systems.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous.
•    Ability to identify customer needs and deliver tailored commercial solutions.
•    Strong networking, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
•    Commercially aware with an understanding of market trends and customer behaviour.
•    Excellent organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills.
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
•    Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
