WSP in the Middle East is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Building Supervision team in Dubai. The successful candidate will support the commercial management of projects by assisting with cost control, contract administration, valuations, and reporting activities.



Responsibilities:
  • Measure and value construction works for payment certification.
  • Review contractor applications for payment.
  • Assist in evaluating variations and contractual claims.
  • Prepare cost reports and commercial summaries.
  • Maintain records of site instructions, variation orders, and commercial correspondence.
  • Support the preparation of final accounts.
  • Review Bills of Quantities and contract documentation.
  • Participate in site inspections and commercial meetings.
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
  • Assist senior commercial staff with contract administration duties.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Civil Engineering.
  • 7–10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience on building construction supervision or consultancy projects.
  • Working knowledge of FIDIC contracts and standard forms of contract.
  • Experience with measurements, valuations, and cost reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and commercial management software.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organisation skills.
  • UAE or GCC experience is highly desirable.
