A QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products, processes, and projects meet quality standards and client specifications. The role involves inspection, testing, documentation, compliance monitoring, and coordination with project and production teams to maintain quality assurance and control procedures.
Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures.
Conduct inspections of materials, processes, and finished work.
Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents.
Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, records, and test results.
Identify defects or deviations and recommend corrective actions.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
Ensure compliance with international standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
Perform site audits, internal audits, and quality checks.
Monitor calibration of testing equipment and instruments.
Support project teams during inspections by consultants or clients.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical or relevant discipline).
3–7 years of experience in QA/QC or quality inspection role.
Knowledge of international standards such as ISO, ASTM, ASME, or equivalent.
Experience in construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, or engineering projects (depending on industry).
Strong knowledge of quality control processes and documentation.
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and quality reporting tools.
Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
