Program Engineer (AI Projects) — UAE National | Abu Dhabi, UAE

We’re hiring a UAE National Program Engineer to lead and coordinate high-impact AI projects in Abu Dhabi. This role sits at the centre of delivery — translating mission needs into clear plans, aligning technical teams and stakeholders, and driving AI programs from concept through to deployment.

What you’ll do

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives: scope, plan, milestones, risks, dependencies, and outcomes
  • Act as the bridge between technical teams (AI/ML, data, software, cyber) and business/program stakeholders
  • Drive requirements gathering, use-case definition, and success metrics for AI projects
  • Manage project governance: status reporting, steering updates, RAID logs, documentation, and change control
  • Coordinate vendors/partners where required and ensure delivery quality and timelines
  • Support testing, validation, and deployment readiness for AI solutions in operational environments
  • Ensure strong stakeholder alignment and clear communication across all workstreams

What we’re looking for

  • UAE National (required)
  • Experience delivering technical programs/projects (AI, data, software, digital, engineering)
  • Strong program/project management capability with a structured, detail-driven approach
  • Comfortable working with AI/ML teams and understanding technical constraints (you don’t need to be a data scientist, but you must be credible with engineers)
  • Strong communication skills and confidence presenting updates to senior stakeholders
  • Strong documentation habits and governance discipline



Skills


  • Exposure to AI use cases (computer vision, predictive analytics, NLP, anomaly detection, automation)
  • Experience with Agile delivery, product-style roadmaps, or systems engineering environments
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira/Confluence/MS Project and basic data literacy (KPIs, dashboards)
