− Planning and building network architecture, configuring/managing/maintaining/troubleshooting network devices (Firewall, Router, switch).

− Managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting wireless network devices (Cisco, Aruba).
− Managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting network reliability monitoring systems (PRTG) and automation tools (FortiManager).

− IP allocation, network topology mapping, SOP documentation creation, organization, and updates.

− Coordinating with ISPs and support vendors, including handling line optimization and other related issues.

− Collaborating with other departments, providing 24/7 technical support, ensuring the stability of online domains.

− Establishing network operation and maintenance process standards, organizing and updating documentation and information.


Requirements
  • Proficient in operating FortiGate, not just through GUI and CLI, but also understanding logic, manually compiling configuration files, modifying settings, and performing cross-machine restoration and replacement.
  • Skilled in operating FortiManager; since its GUI functionality cannot fully cover Manager features, an advanced skill level and understanding are required.
  • Experienced in using FortiAnalyzer, including customizing layout templates, editing data profiles, redefining reports, and presenting additional necessary information.
  • Proficient in using FortiAuthenticator for RADIUS authentication and integrating it with FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, and Cisco switches.
  • Skilled in managing Cisco switches, whether Layer 2 or Layer 3 infrastructure, including VTP, routing logic, AAA, RADIUS authentication, and backup mechanisms.
  • Capable of configuring Cisco ACS authentication sequence rules, MAB mappings, and strategies.
  • Experienced with Aruba, able to quickly deploy, meet authentication and requirement methods, adjust profiles, groups, and VAP groups.
  • Proficient in using PRTG and flexibly adjusting free licenses, defining various sensor rules, and monitoring system requirements.
  • Able to respond 24/7 to both company-related and non-related matters, maintaining a problem-solving attitude.
  • Capable of independently evaluating, designing, configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting network architecture and topology issues.
  • Skilled in independently creating requirement lists for equipment and network design based on environmental, hardware, and software conditions.
  • Able to quickly learn and operate F5 infrastructure, including HA, backup, restoration, licensing, iRules, rule judgments, VS, routing, error detection, and dump monitoring.
  • If necessary, able to immediately operate SRX, EX, Arista, H3C, Huawei, 3Com devices and integrate them into production environments.
  • Capable of promptly assessing and planning the next phase of work schedules, reflecting work issues and feedback.
  • Able to assist system personnel in troubleshooting unknown issues, errors, anomalies, and proposing viable solutions.
  • Able to instruct, train, and guide Philippine and Taiwan staff to handle work-related issues and workflows.
  • Skilled in reviewing and adjusting firewall rule sequences and logic to maintain minimal and necessary permissions.
  • Able to communicate and handle work matters with various departments, using illustrative examples to facilitate understanding.
  • Understand diverse requirements when working with technical staff, installation personnel, and non-technical personnel.
  • Must accept being on standby during holidays, weekends, and vacations, with possible interruptions.
  • Willing to work under resource limitations and adapt to immediate operational needs when personnel or equipment availability is constrained.
  • Must keep mobile and communication lines open, remaining on-call 24/7.
  • At least one year of relevant experience in network engineering.
  • Holds CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications.
  • Familiar with Layer 2 and Layer 3 Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Wireless AP devices, or relevant experience.
