Job description

Our client: A leading name in the FMCG sector, is looking to hire a Modern Trade Manager to strengthen their footprint across key retail chains in the UAE. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in handling modern trade accounts within the commodities space and a strong network across major retailers.


  • Drive sales and revenue growth through strategic management of modern trade channels (Carrefour, Lulu, Union Coop, etc.)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with modern trade partners, ensuring optimal visibility, shelf space, and promotions.
  • Negotiate annual trade terms, pricing, and promotional activities with retail partners.
  • Plan and monitor in-store execution, merchandising, and promotional calendars.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, finance) to ensure timely stock availability and efficient operations.
  • Analyze category performance, sales data, and competitor activity to inform commercial decisions.
