Measurement QS (Quantity Surveyor) based in Dubai ?
Working in the Head Office handling a range of activities across bids and live projects. No day will EVER be the same but the exciting pace , nature of work and the characters will make the time pass QUICK.
Below gives an indication on the type of duties you will be involved in across Commercial, Leisure, Industrial & Technology Sectors.
- Quantity Take-Off - Measure materials and quantities from drawings (plans, BOQs, specifications).
- Cost Estimation - Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- BOQ Preparation - Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for tendering and procurement.
- Tender Analysis - Review quotes and compare pricing.
- Valuation - Prepare interim payment applications and evaluate subcontractor claims.
- Variation Management - Measure and price variations (changes in scope).
- Daily Task - Reviewing architectural and engineering drawings. Using software like AutoCAD, CostX, or Excel
What our client is looking for: - Personality, communication skills, energy and being part of a TEAM
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Familiarity with standard methods of measurement (e.g., POMI, NRM)
- Degree Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
