Description
Prepare and maintain accurate joint venture accounting records and reports.Ensure compliance with financial policies, standards, and regulations.Collaborate with joint venture partners to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.Analyse financial data and provide insights to support decision-making processes.Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for joint ventures.Oversee the allocation of costs and revenues among joint venture partners.Support internal and external audits related to joint venture activities.Proactively identify opportunities to streamline financial processes.
Profile
A successful Joint Venture Accountant should have:
A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.Proven experience in joint venture accounting within the energy & natural resources industry.Strong knowledge of accounting standards and practices.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in financial software and tools.The ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
