Job description

The House Manager position for a UHNW individual in Dubai offers a unique opportunity to manage a luxurious household while ensuring the highest standards of service and organization. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can handle various responsibilities ranging from staff management to event planning. The House Manager will be the primary point of contact for all household operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. This position is ideal for someone with extensive experience in high-end hospitality or private service, who is looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily household operations, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
  2. Manage and coordinate household staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
  3. Plan and execute events, dinners, and gatherings, ensuring all details are meticulously handled.
  4. Maintain household budgets, track expenses, and manage vendor relationships.
  5. Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the property, coordinating with service providers as needed.
  6. Develop and implement household policies and procedures for staff and service.
  7. Act as a liaison between the family and external service providers, ensuring clear communication.
  8. Handle personal errands and requests from the family with discretion and professionalism.
  9. Maintain inventory of household supplies and manage procurement processes.
  10. Provide exceptional service to guests and family members, anticipating their needs.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience in a similar role within a high-net-worth household.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  3. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  6. Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  7. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and demands.
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  9. Knowledge of household management software and tools.
  10. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
