Gypsum Supervisor

To manage and support the Foremen in managing the tradesmen and labour in their day to day activities ensuring the work is completed on time and to the highest standards.

• To ensure the work is completed on time and within cost allowable
• To manage the staff resource levels at all times, ensuring the correct amount of resources are on site at specific times
• To set out and prepare the site for construction works by reading the construction drawings and interpreting them accurately
• Manage access on and off the site for both day to day activities and in emergency situations
• To manage the procuring of materials, ensuring that materials ordered are required and that accurate measurements have been taken
• To manage the site ensuring that all members of the team are working safely in line with Isam Kabbani company policy and procedures
• To ensure that all works are completed using the appropriate safety equipment
• To manage heavy plant and equipment on site, ensuring that only qualified people operate the machinery
• Understand how the contract impacts on the environment and ensure action is taken place to minimize impact
• Implementation of environmental management activities pre, during and post construction
• To be responsible for and manage all hazardous materials on site, ensuring they are labeled, stored, managed and used appropriately
• To optimize productivity and implement productivity improvement initiatives
• Support in motivating and leading the construction teams through monitoring performance and coaching team members
• To identify and support the training for unskilled workers
• To oversee all the Senior Foremen and bring together the different areas of work, ensuring all plans coordinate
• To ensure that all works are completed within the ISO quality standards by monitoring, auditing and putting in place corrective actions.
• To complete a handover of structural works at the end of a contract
