The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage service across multiple outlets, including restaurants, bars, in-room dining, and event catering. This role involves leading a dynamic team to ensure a high standard of service, guest satisfaction, and overall profitability.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across all food and beverage venues, including lounges, restaurants, banquets, and room service.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and manage costs effectively.
- Maintain high standards of food presentation, service quality, and cleanliness.
- Train, mentor, and supervise staff to deliver exceptional service and uphold brand standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to curate menus that align with guest preferences and current trends.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and stock control to reduce waste and improve profitability.
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and occupational health standards are consistently met.
- Address guest feedback promptly and resolve any service issues with professionalism and care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food and beverage management role or similar hospitality position.
- Demonstrated success in managing operations and leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of menu items, including beverages, wines, and cocktails.
- Basic financial skills for managing budgets, sales reporting, and cost control.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A passion for hospitality and creating positive, memorable guest experiences.
