Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Facility Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of our medical center’s facilities. The role ensures that the premises are safe, clean, fully functional, and compliant with healthcare regulations, supporting a high standard of patient care and staff efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily facility operations including maintenance, housekeeping, and security
  • Ensure all areas of the medical center meet hygiene, infection control, and safety standards
  • Conduct routine inspections of treatment rooms, common areas, and equipment
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and medical support systems
  • Supervise housekeeping and maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
  • Monitor and ensure proper waste management, including medical waste disposal as per regulations
  • Ensure compliance with health authority guidelines and safety standards
  • Liaise with external vendors and contractors for maintenance, pest control, cleaning, and other services
  • Maintain records of maintenance schedules, inspections, and compliance reports
  • Support accreditation and audit requirements (e.g., DOH, DHA, or relevant authority)
  • Handle facility-related emergencies and resolve issues promptly
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, maintenance materials, and equipment
  • Assist in cost control and budgeting for facility operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in facility supervision, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of infection control standards and healthcare facility regulations
  • Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
  • Good leadership and team management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in medical centers, clinics, or hospitals
  • Familiarity with health authority regulations such as DOH (Department of Health – Abu Dhabi)
  • Basic knowledge of safety systems and emergency response procedures
