OverviewOur client is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Lead to oversee the enterprise-wide ER function. This role will lead on complex employee matters, governance frameworks, and workforce risk, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant practices across multiple regions. The position plays a key role in safeguarding organizational integrity while promoting a high-performance and respectful workplace culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations LeadershipLead and develop the ER function across multiple geographiesEstablish consistent ER standards, policies, and governance frameworksCoach and support ER teams on complex and high-risk casesPromote a culture of accountability, fairness, and risk awarenessDiscipline & Grievance ManagementOversee disciplinary and grievance frameworks and processesManage complex, high-risk, or reputational ER casesEnsure consistency and legal defensibility in decision-makingAdvisory & Stakeholder SupportAct as a strategic advisor to HR and business leaders on ER mattersProvide guidance on performance management, investigations, and complianceSupport resolution of sensitive workforce issuesPolicy & ComplianceInterpret and communicate ER policies across the organizationEnsure consistent application aligned with local regulationsStrengthen adherence through HR and leadership teamsEscalation & Risk ManagementAct as final escalation point for critical ER issuesIdentify systemic risks and define mitigation strategiesEnsure proper documentation and governance standardsGovernance & Continuous ImprovementAnalyze ER trends and identify areas of risk or improvementEnhance ER frameworks, reporting, and controlsDrive proactive initiatives to reduce workforce risk
