Job Title: ELV Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced ELV Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems including structured cabling, CCTV, access control, networking, and telecom systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in installation and maintenance of ELV and IT infrastructure systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and commission ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, intercom, PA systems, and structured cabling.
  • Perform cable laying, termination, labeling, and testing for network and telecom systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of ELV and networking systems.
  • Support installation and maintenance of wireless and wired network infrastructure.
  • Assist in computer systems setup, hardware installation, and basic software configuration.
  • Ensure all work is completed as per project specifications, safety standards, and company guidelines.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and clients for site activities and reporting.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials properly at site.
  • Prepare service reports and documentation for completed tasks.


Requirements:

  • Diploma or ITI in Electrical / Electronics / IT or related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in ELV systems installation and maintenance in UAE.
  • Knowledge of CCTV, access control, structured cabling, networking, and telecom systems.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and layouts.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.


Skills

Experience in fiber optic cabling and termination.

Familiarity with IP-based systems and network configuration.

Knowledge of safety procedures and site work practices in UAE.
