JOB TITLE: Digital Director

LOCATION: Abu Dhabi, On Site

CONTRACT TYPE: Temporary Contract - Immediate Start

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Interim Senior Digital Manager to provide leadership and continuity during a critical phase of a major enterprise website programme.

Working closely with internal marketing, communications and business teams, alongside external delivery partners, you will ensure the organisation's digital presence supports its strategic objectives and delivers a seamless, brand-aligned customer journey.  Acting as the central point of coordination, you will oversee website delivery while ensuring digital content, stakeholder engagement, governance, and business priorities remain aligned throughout the programme.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong digital marketing expertise, stakeholder management, and programme delivery experience within a large, complex organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the day-to-day coordination of the enterprise website programme, ensuring alignment with marketing, communications, and organisational objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the website development agency and internal stakeholders, including Marketing, Communications, IT, Cybersecurity, Procurement, and business units.
  • Ensure the website delivers a consistent brand experience, supports strategic communications objectives, and meets the needs of internal and external audiences.
  • Oversee content planning, governance, migration, and readiness, ensuring information is accurate, user-focused, and aligned with the organisation's digital strategy.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issue resolution to ensure successful delivery.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), content validation, and launch activities to support a high-quality user experience.
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and governance forums to maintain alignment across stakeholders and delivery partners.
  • Drive decision-making, manage change requests, and ensure project outcomes deliver measurable business and customer value.
  • Monitor programme performance and provide strategic updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Support the transition into post-launch operations, establishing governance and continuous improvement for ongoing website performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience leading large-scale website programmes, digital transformation initiatives, or enterprise digital platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, customer experience, content strategy, and website governance.
  • Experience managing website redevelopment projects from a business, marketing, or communications perspective.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage external digital agencies and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build consensus across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent programme and project management capabilities, with a focus on delivering strategic business outcomes.
  • Familiarity with enterprise CMS platforms, digital analytics, SEO principles, accessibility standards, and user experience best practice.
  • Exceptional communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within government, highly regulated, or large complex organisations is highly desirable.

WHY JOIN US?

  • Be part of a global, growing organisation with exposure across multiple markets.
  • Work in a collaborative, multicultural environment.
  • Opportunity for career growth as the organisation expands.
