Job Summary:

A Dermatologist is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions. The role includes providing both medical and aesthetic dermatology services while ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and compliance with **Department of Health Abu Dhabi regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Clinical Duties

• Diagnose and treat skin conditions (e.g., acne, eczema, psoriasis, infections)
• Perform dermatological procedures (biopsies, cryotherapy, minor surgeries)
• Manage chronic skin diseases and follow-up care
• Provide patient education on skin health and prevention

2. Aesthetic Services (if applicable)

• Perform procedures such as:
• Botox and dermal fillers
• Chemical peels
• Laser treatments
• Conduct skin assessments and recommend suitable treatments

3. Patient Care & Safety

• Maintain accurate and complete medical records
• Ensure informed consent is obtained before procedures
• Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards

4. Compliance & Regulations

• Follow DOH policies, clinical guidelines, and ethical standards
• Maintain valid professional license and CME requirements

5. Collaboration

• Work closely with nurses, laser therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary
