Job description

A leading financial institution dedicated to strengthening its data operations and ensuring reliable, timely, and high‑quality data delivery across its enterprise platforms. The organization is seeking a DataOps Engineer to support daily operations, incident management, and continuous improvement of critical data pipelines.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor key data flows, identify anomalies, and react promptly to operational alerts and incident notifications.
• Perform first-level triage on operational issues and coordinate with specialized teams for deeper investigation and resolution.
• Lead the incident management process, including severity assessment, documentation, ticket creation, and follow‑through until closure.
• Conduct root‑cause analyses after incidents, maintain logs, and recommend preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Prepare and deliver daily operational summaries covering system health, issues encountered, and ongoing remediation activities.
• Maintain continuous awareness of the status of all critical data flows and proactively communicate risks or delays to stakeholders.


Qualifications and Skills:
• Experience in monitoring and supporting complex data pipelines and operational workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting and triage skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent issues.
• Familiarity with data quality, data freshness concepts, and operational performance indicators.
• Ability to document incidents, provide summaries, and communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical teams.
• Experience with incident management processes, including prioritization, escalation, and cross‑team collaboration.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain operational discipline under pressure.
