The Construction Manager - Structures Division, is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all substructure and superstructure construction activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on schedule, and in full compliance with approved structural designs, specifications, and quality standards.
Must have full license and own vehicle, maybe based across multiple projects.
Hours will vary as per structure works and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all structural construction activities on site
Review and interpret structural drawings, calculations, and specifications
Coordinate with structural engineers, consultants, and design teams to resolve technical issues
Manage structural subcontractors (concrete, formwork, rebar, steel erection, post-tensioning, etc.)
Ensure compliance with structural design, quality standards, and construction methodologies
Monitor progress against structural schedules and milestones
Oversee inspections, testing, and approvals (e.g., concrete pours, rebar inspections, load tests)
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental requirements
Identify and mitigate structural risks, defects, and constructability issues
Report progress, risks, and technical challenges to senior project management
Leads and motivates teams to deliver project targets by setting clear goals, roles and performance expectations
Communicates clearly with the Structures team and delegates effectively
Resolves conflicts and makes decisions under pressure
Drives performance, accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 10 years’ experience in structural construction management
Strong experience with reinforced concrete, steel structures, and foundations
