Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Site Supervision & Leadership: Directing workers and subcontractors to complete civil works such as structural concrete, roads, earthworks, and drainage.
  • Planning & Scheduling: Organizing daily work, assigning tasks to personnel, and ensuring materials and tools are available to prevent delays.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforcing company policies, safety regulations (e.g., OSHA), and conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Quality Control & Reporting: Inspecting workmanship for quality and preparing daily progress reports regarding progress and labor productivity.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Interpreting structural plans and resolving technical problems on-site in coordination with engineers and managers.
  • Resource Management: Minimizing waste by managing materials and ensuring equipment is in good working condition.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience as a foreman in civil construction.
  • Skills: Ability to read drawings, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in, or ability to learn, project management software.
  • Physical: Ability to work in varying weather conditions and lift, bend, and move heavy materials.
