Automotive Painter:
Panel preparation: filling, sanding, masking and priming.
Mix, match and spray water-borne & solvent-based paints (PPG, Dupont, Glasurit) in a downdraft booth.
Perform spot repairs, blends and full resprays; finish with polishing and detailing to showroom quality.
Diagnose and correct paint defects (orange peel, runs, fish-eyes, etc.).
3+ years’ refinish experience in a premium body shop.
Excellent eye for colour, gloss and surface texture.
Proficient with HVLP/LVLP guns, spectrophotometer & paint mixing scales.
Knowledge of PPE, ventilation and fire-safety protocols.
High attention to detail, can work to tight turnaround times.
